I Design
I have more than 15 years of experience as a creative problem solver and product designer. My work is centered on bridging the gap between digital and physical realms, and I achieve this through open-ended design challenges such as play.
I Create
I enjoy using my hands to tackle big problems and see the small details. This often involves creating puppets, woodworking, building with LEGO, or stop-motion animation.
I Paint
My undergraduate degree is in illustration, and I still enjoy oil painting in my spare time. My paintings are primarily for myself at this time, are usually very figurative, and occasionally align with my interest in children's media.
I Teach
I am an adjunct faculty member at the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design. I have created the curricula and teach Design for Play, Stop Motion Animation, Brainstorming for Creatives, and Drawing from Maquettes classes.
I Parent
With my wife of over 15 years, I have two boys we are raising in Pennsylvania after they were both born in Texas. We lived in Egtved, Denmark, for 6 Years while I worked at the LEGO Group.
